Talk like a politician – or even instead of one! Choose from a menu of real-life speeches and imitate them in a dramatic style. Entertain your audience with funny, informative and forgotten speeches from parties across the board on the issues of the internet, surveillance and data protection. It’s like real karaoke but much easier– because all you have to do for the Politaoke is speak. But if you want to sing, rap, comment or improve –then, go ahead. Choose a speech and grab the mike!

She studied Cultural Studies and Experimental Film at Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts and holds an MA from the Institute for Art in Context from the Berlin University of the Arts. In 2012 she was invited with her project to the Under the Mountain Festival (Jerusalem Season of Culture) in Israel. She is currently planning a crowdsourcing campaign for Politaoke, so that the ideas and the technology that she wants to use are made accessible to everyone.
