Paula Hannemann is Campaigns Director at Change.org Germany. Change.org is one of the largest e-campaigning platforms worldwide and in December 2013, it sent out an appeal from “Writers against Surveillance” with the participation of over 500 writers from 82 countries, among them Nobel Laureates. It advises public bodies and organisations on strategies for success and opportunities for digital cultural campaigns.

Paula Hannemann is the German boss of the campaign platform Change.org. Before this she was responsible for the social media areas and online campaigns for the World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF), the largest environmental organisation in the world. Hannemann studied communications, business administration and Chinese in Berlin and Peking, has taught as a guest lecturer at the Institut für Marketing und Kommunikation (IMK) and has consulted internet start-ups on brand communication and innovation management. Paula Hannemann holds regular talks at conferences on the subjects of social media strategies, online activism and crisis communication.

Rabea Edel, born in 1982, regularly presents and curates readings and cultural events for publishers, cultural institutions and festivals. Since 2013, Rabea Edel has also been the chief editor of the “REVUE – Magazine for the Next Society”. She works in cross-disciplinary projects with musicians and visual artists, and is the author of two novels. She lives and works as a freelance journalist and presenter in Berlin.
